An election is not “won” by a conqueror vanquishing their foes.
They simply got more votes than the other person in an election. And always there are more people that didn’t vote than did.
Every person living in Hillcrest is of equal importance.
And nothing is more important than never taking your eyes off of those elected or appointed to “run” the Village.
When looking at the Village of Hillcrest, we are all neighbors before during and after any election.
And whether you vote or not, your voice and your choices need to be offered up at any/every Village Meeting held.
The Village Board must improve the lives of the people in Hillcrest. Always looking out for our bills and quality of life.
Anything else is wrong.
